Due to frequent requests from customers, Snuggles Pet Resort has contracted with a professional pet care service to provide safe, cost-effective, and convenient pet transport from your home in Canberra or Queanbeyan direct to our door here in Michelago.
Mad Dogs and Englishmen, Australia’s most popular dog walking service, covering all of Canberra from Gungahlin to Tuggeranong and Duffy to Queanbeyan, will now provide professional pet transport services for both dogs and cats (separated, of course) exclusively to Snuggles Pet Resort.
Mad Dogs and Englishmen are able to conduct pick-ups in the afternoon their stay begins with Snuggles and return your pets on the morning they leave Snuggles, providing a hassle free service for those that need it, for those in that emergency situation you hadn’t planned for, or maybe just for those who are travelling in a different direction and can’t find the time to travel to Michelago before they go north, east or west.
Air-conditioned comfort, weekday convenience — book early, travel easy.
Pet transport will be done on an as-required basis, from Mondays to Fridays, with bookings required no later than 5.00pm the day previous to their arrival at Snuggles. With a fully-equipped air-conditioned van with safety barriers, non-slip flooring and plenty of safe and secure attachments to keep the occupants safe, Mad Dogs and Englishmen have a maximum daily transport limit of four dogs and two cats, or six cats (all cats must be contained in cat carriers), so you may need to plan well ahead or act fast. You can arrange transport in just one direction or a return trip – it’s up to you!
We know some clients feel that Michelago is a bit too far to travel for them, or they have difficulty in travelling outside of Canberra, or using a private vehicle, or even have trouble getting here in time after work, so we hope this service will convince the that it is now achievable and convenient for them to bring their pets to the best kennel and cattery facility in Australia – not just the Canberra region!
Costs for this service are extremely competitive, basically done at mates rates really, to ensure, as always, that Snuggles customers always receive the best value for money when it comes to caring for your pets, so it’s no different for transporting your pets!

- Click the ‘Book now’ button and complete the form.
- As this form was developed for the entire franchise across Australia for Mad Dogs and Englishmen, you will need to select a ‘casual/one off’ and ‘single walk’ in relevant fields to progress, as not all franchises undertake pet transport.
- Under ‘Comment’ write ‘Transport to/from Snuggles Pet Resort’ along with any other comments, such as dates and single or return trip.
- Once a form is submitted, you can then book your next walk or transport by text or phone directly with Louise.
- Mad Dogs and Englishmen will be solely responsible for issuing invoices and managing payments.

Mad dogs Canberra provides a safe and comfortable ride to and from the park in the air-conditioned ‘Mad Dogs’ van, and we walk come rain or shine. Walking a maximum of four dogs per walk, rest assured your furry friend will be receiving personalised attention and care whilst out with us! If you book in by 5pm the night before we guarantee availability to take your pooch the next day and all walks are for the full 1 hour.
